Slavery vs. Sonship

THE SPIRIT OF SLAVERY
vs.
THE SPIRIT OF SONSHIP

The following are some general characteristics that show the difference in behavior between someone with a spirit of slavery and someone with a spirit of sonship. The root issues are in the heart. A spirit of slavery is the produce of both poor nurture and unresolved woundedness. These things cannot be seen directly, but these external behavioral characteristics typically are a reflection of what is in the heart.

Almost no one will fall completely in one category or the other. These are designed to help you see where you still need to be re-parented, rather than being a tool for you to label anyone else.

This material is developed in greater detail on the CD "Perspective on Leadership" which is part of the series entitled "Perspectives for the Church in the 21st Century."
