I was teaching on an assigned topic at a church in Texas, when someone from the audience interrupted me and asked “Where is your passion?”
Obviously I knew the topic I was teaching on, but had no passion for it!!! He knew that and drew me skillfully into the area where my passion flowed deeply.
The generations are a central point of my passion and this book, “Relentless Generational Blessings” expresses that passion. I use comprehensive Scriptural support wrapped up in a flow of word pictures and illustrations to make clear a theology most people have not thought about.
We are standing in a stream of history thousands of years old. One of the majestic facets of Christianity is that because of the death of Jesus Christ we can be set free from the generational covenants, curses and iniquities from the past.
The greater majesty is that because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we can significantly increase the volume and intensity of the generational blessings that pursue our children.
This book is my passionate presentation of a model for life that is lived generationally. Forefathers you don’t even know about have done righteous things that resulted in generational blessings being put in a trust fund for your family line.
A portion of the resources necessary for you to possess your birthright come from the generational blessings that are available to you, but don’t necessarily flow to you until you go after them. In this book, I explore a broad variety of generational blessings and various ways to access what is legally yours.
Part two of the book presents a hugely counter intuitive theology for accruing blessings for the future generaions. The most obedient man in Scripture (according to God’s evaluation) did not think or act generationally. On the other end of the spectrum, the man who received the largest generational blessing of all time is legendary for his disobedience.
The Church broadly teaches about generational curses and about contemporary blessings. If you are a parent or a leader, it is time for you to become widely versed in the niche between the two, and that is generational blessings.
