A New Company:

BEYOND  THE  HORIZON

What does it mean to live with a generational world view?

It means that those who come after you stand head and shoulders above you!

It is in this context that I delight in introducing you to Megan Caldecourt's new business, "Beyond the Horizon."  This is her platform for sharing with us the things God is showing her.

I look back at the beginnings of Plumbline Ministries about 15 years ago.  To say I was gauche would be kind.  The inception of Plumbline was vague, clumsy and a bit cheesy.  But we did it, and we grew up, and we look a bit better today than we did then.

I compare this with Megan's new venture.  She has been in business before, plus she has learned much from her time in leadership here at Sapphire.  Her start up has been so different than mine.

It is a joy to watch her lay a clean, solid foundation for her business from day one.  She bobbled a grand total of two items, recovered very quickly, and today, at the inception of her business, she has finer structure in place than I did ten years into my business.

I am thrilled to welcome an excellent business to the playing field.  In a world of mediocrity, there is always room for those who bring a superlative work ethic to the table, along with wide knowledge of best practices.

But there is a far deeper lesson here from a generational point of view.

Megan's first teaching, a couple of years ago, was called "Love and Legitimacy."  She took one of my peripheral products, updated it significantly, and added a unique Mercy perspective to the

teaching.  It was very well received.

Her new product, available only through her website, is called "Where the Living Treasure Lies." It is about how to unpack the redemptive gift of Mercy so as to release everything that is there.

Now consider this:  For 15 years, I have been the best in the world on this subject.  I have championed the gift of Mercy ten thousand times.  I have no idea how many times I have sat across from a Mercy and explained how their gift was designed to work, and given them the gift of dignity.

I was the best at understanding and explaining the Mercy gift.  Now Megan is.  Through fierce intentionality, she has wrestled with her own gift in the context of living big and has learned many things I never knew.  She has raised the bar, not in a peripheral context, but in one of my core messages.

THIS is what living generationally looks like.  Your spiritual sons and daughters OUGHT TO improve upon your best.

So with intense joy and a great sense of honor, I present to you a next generation businesswoman, with a unique message birthed out of the furnace of her own life.

May her tribe increase!  I look forward to many more of my spiritual sons and daughters vastly improving on my best messages.

And I really look forward to her spiritual sons and daughters besting her best!
